1. Candy Cane Lane
Candy Cane Lane is one of Seattle’s favorite Holiday traditions and become one of my personal favorites when I attended the University of Washington. The neighborhood is just north of UW’s main campus and features an entire neighborhood of ’20s era Tudors that simply goes all out for the holidays with colorful lights, sleighs, reindeer, candy canes and a surprise appearances from Santa himself!

2. WildLights at Woodland Park Zoo
Amazing display with sparkling lights, faux snow, animal encounters and our favorite. Hot Chocolate! For more information and tickets visit the zoo website at www.zoo.org

3. Enchant Christmas
Enchant Seattle made our other list of Holiday events around Seattle and it’s a must here too. Whether you’re wandering the Worlds Largest Christmas Light Maze with a yummy cup of hot chocolate or ice skating through the ice-skating trail, you’re sure to find something for the entire family.

4. Garden d’Lights
It’s hard to believe this Eastside staple is in its 25th year! The annual Garden d’Lights at the Bellevue Botanical Garden has lots of familiar favorites, like Charlotte of web fame and Willie the Slug, at this Eastside tradition, but be on the lookout for some new displays and critters in the mix too. Don’t forget to stop by the Aaron Education Center to check out the whimsical Gingerbread Village on display there. The price is included with your ticket.

5. Lumaze: Lost in Lights
Need an indoor option when the rain appears? Check out Lumaze. Experience a magical family-friendly indoor wonderland as you wander through your own holiday fairytale and help Santa save Christmas! Enjoy interactive light gardens, illuminated structures, delicious food, festive drinks and daily live entertainment all under the twinkle of a million lights.

6. Warm Beach Lights of Christmas Festival
This is another option that made our list of Holiday events around Seattle. Bundle up and head north to Warm Beach for the Lights of Christmas Festival. It’s a great option if you live in the north end, and, if you don’t, well, crank up the Christmas tunes and enjoy the drive. It’s worth it! Our family recommends heading straight for the holiday train (to avoid the crazy line later) and then wandering around in awe of the light displays with a hot chocolate and fresh kettle corn.

7. Ivar’s Clam Lights
Don’t miss this iconic event. Clam Lights (Presented by Ivar’s Restaurants), one of the largest FREE public lighting displays on the Eastside, is back at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park in Renton.
