Mukilteo Summer Events Guide 2025: Lighthouse Views, Outdoor Movies & Waterfront Nights

Local Love

Mukilteo in the summer is pure Pacific Northwest charm. Long golden evenings, the ferry gliding across the Sound, and neighbors gathering for movies, music, and waterfront festivals define the season.

Summer in Mukilteo has its own quiet rhythm. The ferry horn in the distance, seagulls looping in the evening light, neighbors rolling out blankets and chairs as the sun drifts lower over the Sound. It is a season of long evenings and easy gatherings, where the best moments are simple and close to home. Here is what to put on your calendar this year.

Movies in the Park

Wednesday, July 23 – Despicable Me
Wednesday, August 6 – The Wild Robot
Wednesday, August 20 – Moana 2

Mukilteo’s outdoor movie nights take place on the lawn at Rosehill Community Center, perched on the hill with sweeping views of the Sound. Bring a blanket or low chair and settle in as the sky fades from gold to indigo. Screenings begin at dusk, and the evening has that easy, small-town summer energy—kids running in the grass, neighbors greeting neighbors.

Arrive early to grab dinner from local food trucks like Tapped in Mukilteo (don’t miss their smash burger) and stop by the Mukilteo Schools Foundation concession stand, where every popcorn and candy sale goes toward local student scholarships.

Music at the Beach

Friday, August 22 – The Roc Martens (Alternative Rock Cover Band)

Nothing says summer like live music by the water. Mukilteo’s free summer concert series offers the perfect excuse to spend the evening outside with a picnic, a cozy sweater for the breeze, and a view of the Sound as the backdrop.

Mukilteo Farmers’ Market

Wednesdays, June through September 2025

The Mukilteo Farmers’ Market is more than a place to shop. It is where the town gathers. Open seasonally from June through September, the market is designed to bring together families, neighbors, visitors, and local food producers to create a true sense of community. Its mission is to enhance quality of life, strengthen the local economy, and increase access to fresh, locally produced foods for everyone including kids, families, the elderly, and those with lower incomes.

Between the flowers, produce, and handmade goods, a slow stroll through the market feels like the start of a vacation. No plane ticket required.

Summer in Mukilteo is lived-in and local, full of small pleasures and moments that ask you to stay a little longer by the water. Mark your calendar for the season’s best events.
